The Wiffle Javelin is designed as an indoor training device that flys just like a normal javelin- you have to hit the point. The flight restrictors add resistance as you throw: the faster the release, the more resistance you get. At 60" long with a real javelin cord grip you get the feel of a normal javelin and the point in near the face, so you have the added function of point control in your training with it. The same model works for men or women, since speed dictates resistance instead of weight. It can also be used outside mixed into workouts with regular javelins.With a soft rubber tip and plastic resistance cones, it can be used indoors without any marks or damage to floors or walls.
