I want that old fashioned farm collie Shetland Sheepdog.
The one that sleeps at the foot of the bed, goes out with you to bring the goats in to be milked, licks the lambs when they are born, keeps watchful eye over the chickens but has the heart to attack and drive off a hawk if needed.

I also want the modern Sheltie that will play for hours with the kids, and go to competition on the weekends, be it herding, agility, obedience, freestyle--up for anything.

I'm breeding for both. Quiet and calm when not needed, my dogs are ready for anything I might throw their way. Wonderful indoor companions that will wear themselves out playing fetch, wonderful outdoor companions that will enjoy hiking and boating. And what better company when running errands around town?
