WHERE
IS THE CAMP:
The 4th annual Klub Keihas Throwing
School will be held at Cocalico High School in Denver, PA
on March 10th and 11th, 2006. Last year was a huge success
and we expect an even better experience for coaches and athletes
this year. We expect more people to attend this year, so we
have expanded our staff to allow even greater personal attention
during the training sessions and for questions and discussion.
This years clinc staff includes:
- Kari
Ihalainen - Finnish
National Javelin coach,
- Jeff
Gorski- USATF Javelin Development chair, coach of many top
throwers.
- Glenn
Thompson- elite master thrower and coach, publisher and
author.
- Warren
Taylor- among the top throws coaches in the Northeast.
- Sean
Murray - 3 time NCAA All American at Univ of North Carolina;
UNC and ACC record holder at over 240' Competed at 1992
Olympic Trials and Irish National Championships. Also held
ACC record in 35 lb. weight and All ACC in discus- one of
the most versitile throwers you'll see.
- Larry
Pratt- Univ of Del. throws coach and multiple national master
discus champion.
This
is an ACTIVE clinic: you will have several training sessions
during this clinic, so come dressed to train…..bring
throwing shoes and implements!! Javelin is thrown off
of a rubber surface- bring short spikes! Clinic registration
fee of $65.00 includes booklet, t-shirt, lunch
and all instruction.
