Settings for Nationwide Access

Configuring your computer to dial one of our Nationwide numbers is very similar to setting up a local dialup connection. If you need help on how to set up a connection, please go to Connection Settings and follow the instructions for your operating system.

These settings are only for Nationwide access numbers. If you are dialing any of our local phone numbers, then keep your current settings.

  1. For your username, please put username@intrex.net rather than just your username. Your password remains the same.

  2. In order to send e-mail, please change your outgoing SMTP server to gmail.intrex.net. This server requires authentication to access it.

    Netscape users need to put the username under Outgoing Mail Server Username (Edit menu option - Preferences - Mail & News - Mail Servers - Outgoing Mail Server).

    Outlook Express users need to check 'my server requires authentication' (Tools - Accounts - Mail - Properties - Servers).
