Adding a News Account:

1. Click Tools.
2. Click Accounts....
3. Click Add and then click News....
4. For "Display Name", enter your name as it would appear on a letter. Click Next.
5. For "E-mail Address", enter username@intrex.net. Click Next.
6. For "News Server", enter news.intrex.net
   Note: If you are connecting through a Nationwide access number, enter gnews.intrex.net instead.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Next to accept the friendly name.
9. Select Connect using a phone line. Click Next.
10. Select Use an existing dial up connection, then select the Intrex.net connection. Click Next.
11. Click Finish.

Checking Properties:

1. Click on Tools.
2. Click on Accounts....
3. Click on News.
4. Highlight the news.intrex.net account.
5. Click on Properties.
6. Verify that the E-mail Address is entered correctly.
7. Click on Server.
8. Verify that the Server Name is entered correctly
9. Verify that This Server Requires me to log on is not checked.
10. Click on Connection.
11. Verify that Connect using your phone line is checked.
12. Verify that your Intrex.Net connection is highlighted under "Use the following Connection".
13. Click on Apply to commit to any changes.
14. Click on Ok.
