Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and double-click the Network icon.
Below the window of installed components, select Windows Logon for "Primary Network Logon".
Look at the list of Installed Components. If you see TCP/IP (or TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter), go to step 7.
Click Add....
If prompted to identify yourself to Windows, click the Identity tab and fill in your username for "Computer Name", and type home as your "Workgroup".
