While we will try to keep this Calendar up to date, please also read the Yahoo Group
information. If you are interested in a
trip, contact the trip coordinator through the links in the trip descriptions or
in the Yahoo Group connections.
The General
Membership Meeting will be generally held the first Wednesday night of each month . Unless otherwise announced, the times and location will be the
same, although the program will vary. Prospective members might want to
attend one of these meetings to meet our great group of sailors. No
advanced registration is required unless noted for a special meeting--check the
calendar.
Non-TSA members will need to join TSA before gaining
access to the Yahoo Group Information. The Yahoo Group forum is for
members only!

Directions: Just off I-40 in RTP at the South Miami exit. From either direction take S. Miami exit, and turn
left. Rudino's Restaurant is on the left, behind the Wellesley Inn & Suites
at 4911 Central Park Lane (919-474-8833).

Sunday: Annual Oyster Roast And Chicken BBQ, Reunion, and Swap Shop

This is an event you don't want to miss. Join your TSA friends (current,
prospective, and previous members) for the annual TSA
Oyster Roast, Chicken Pickin' and Swap Shop/Flea Market out in Clayton at Lou
Beaman’s Country Estate
-
We usually gather between 3 to 3:30
PM for socializing and checking out nautical items members would like to part
with. For those of you who have not been out before, bring a dish to share,
lawn chair, fishing pole, kids, friendly dog and your appetite!

We will plan to eat around 5,
with a short meeting before or after. This is usually an outside event, but we do have space
indoors in case the weather clouds up.

Directions: Come out of Raleigh on I-40,
taking exit 306 [onto 70 East] toward Clayton/Smithfield. Go through the 2nd
stoplight and turn [left] into the driveway at the next median. The driveway is
directly across from the old junkyard and I have a green mailbox out front with
the address of 2975 US Hwy 70E. You will come down into the woods, and we will
assist you parking. Dress casually as you will be in “the Country"!

The Stalling's House serves as a focal point for the group, and
is a great place to hang out if one prefers that over sailing, and also is a
great place for getting the whole group together. The sailing is great as
well. Getting marina space can be tight, though, so one must reserve
one's slip way in advance. If Oriental Marina is full, try Whittaker
Creek.
